Citroen Motorhome underslung gas tank replacement.

This Citroen Relay Motorhome came in with a seriously corroded underslung gas tank! The tank was so bad it looks like it could’ve ruptured at anytime!

We supplied a new Gas-it tank and coated it in a rubberised underbody paint👍

Whilst removing the old tank we found that one of the retaining straps had snapped as well as some of the pipework was in bad shape!

New straps fitted, new tank installed, new pigtail and regulator and new copper pipe underneath.

All now nice and safe and meeting current regulations☺️

If you have an underslung gas tank fitted to your Motorhome then please check for corrosion and make sure if it’s a recent installation that it has been coated with a rubberised coating. If you’re unsure then call past our workshop and we will advise you.
